This Artsy.net article featured New York's The Armory Show 2022. The show is described as a welcome return to the good old fashioned art fair format after the Covid-19 hiatus. The fair followed immediately on from the inaugural edition of Frieze Seoul, with many galleries, including Dastan, presenting at both, which proved exhausting but this seemed to neither detract from the buzzing atmosphere nor the impressive sales roster. Dastan and Hormoz Hematian feature prominently in the article, along with Dastan artists Iman Reed and Andisheh Avini. Both Hormoz Hematian and Nicky Nodjoumi, the Iranian artist who was a visitor of the Fair, were impressed by the calliper of gallerists and artists, an expectation as ever of New York, but Hormoz described the Seoul event as having had a wider scope and a far more international reach.
