Dastan is pleased to announce “Medulloblastoma”, a presentation by Niusha Hatefi at Electric Room. The show, which will be open to public view from May 4 to May 9, 2018, is an installation of seven photographs and a video.
The current series of works have been created during the artist’s challenge with Medulloblastoma —a malignant brain tumor originating in the cerebellum. Due to the significant role of cerebellum in the body’s motor control and balance, this tumor causes damage to sight, visual perception and balance.
Niusha Hatefi (b. 1993, Tehran, Iran) is a graduate of graphic design. She has been taking photographs since 2010. This is the first solo presentation of her work.
