"Update 5.0": Dastan+2 and V-Gallery

Dastan is pleased to announce the opening of “Update 5.0” on June 30, 2017 at Dastan+2 and V-Gallery (A Dastan:Outside Project). The exhibition, marking five years since Dastan was founded, will be open for public viewing until July 14. In this exhibition, a selection of works by a number of artists whose works have been previously exhibited at Dastan or will be featured in the future, will be put on display. This exhibition aims to present a curated update of recent, current and future projects of the artists associated with Dastan. The layout of the exhibition at V-Gallery has been designed by Aidin Xankeshipour.

Concurrent to the opening of “Update 5.0”, Dastan:Outside’s new temporary space, "Electric Room", will host its debut project, exhibiting Sina Choopani’s new prints.

In its five years of work, Dastan has hosted 101 exhibitions at the Basement, 20 at Dastan+2, 10 Dastan:Outside Projects at Sam Art, Shirin Confectionery and V-Gallery, and participated in 10 international art fairs in Dubai, Istanbul, Paris, London and San Francisco.
