"Rend in Sa’di’s words, refers to the opportunist who seeks their goals using tact. Dr. Tabatabaee, in the annual commemoration of Sa’di, talked about rendi and ethics in Sa’di, Hafiz and Obeid. Hafiz redefines Rendi. Hafiz believes that the real opportunist (rend) and the smart are the ethicists. He discriminates the ethical and unethical with a bold line. Rendi in contemporary arts brings into mind the works of giants like Damien Hirst, echoing what Sa’di thought about Rendi. Rahmani’s Rendi and her other ethicist fellow combatants, if looked upon from Sa’di’s point of view, is only a defeat in today’s competition. It is only if this is viewed from Hafiz’s perspective that their victory is revealed to the viewer. This victory is not only visual. In fact, it is itself a vessel for another fundamental human question: What should I do with myself? This most fundamental question of ethics.

“Quarter” is only a piece of a larger puzzle. The above text may not be descriptive or brief, since it itself is a piece from another puzzle. If you could remember it, please be reminded of these images and words when the other pieces are shown."*
