Press release
+2 announces “Golden Sphere”, an exhibition curated by Ashkan Zahraei, featuring works by Negar Farajiani, Shahrouz Hakimi, Nargess Hashemi, Shahryar Hatami, Mona Hosseinzadeh, Tahmineh Mahdian, Shahrzad Monem, Morteza Pourhosseini, Elaheh Ramezani, and Salé Sharifi. The exhibition will be hosted at +2 ‏Deh-Vanak, opening on May 9 and continuing through June 6, 2025. The exhibition takes inspiration from Russian and Eastern European science fiction literature of the 1950-70s in order to create a landscape that resembles “stepping onto a path that attempts to unravel and reweave the fabric of reality by disrupting point of view, distorting perspective, decomposing elements, and follow movement and pause, intention and the unconscious, seeing and overlooking, will and neglect.”
