The Artist Book «Kolsum-Naneh» is an adaptation of a rather famous book written three hundred years ago ("Qajar" era-19th century) by a progressive clergy "Agha-Hoseyn Khansari", who aimed to confront and educate the regressive instructions of many other clergies. The author asserts these rituals as inspirations of devil.
The original book includes 16 chapters, and I have selected seven chapters: Introduction, Rituals as inspirations of devil, Chapter 1: On matrimony, Chapter 2: On the night of wedlock, Chapter 3: On giving birth, Chapter 4: On bathing, Chapter 5: On converse of spouses, Chapter 6: On "Mahram" and "Namahram", Chapter 7: On the step sisterhood.
