Presented within the historic setting of the Hampton House- a key site of the Civil Rights Movement- this exhibition explores how contemporary artists engage with histories of resistance, race, and political visibility. The project investigates how the body becomes a contested terrain within systems of surveillance, control, and erasure. Reza Aramesh’s Action 217 is featured as part of the VIP program.
