"Infiniteness" | Group Exhibition

the 12th Iranian Ceramic Biennial

An installation titled The Waves…, curated by Bita Fayyazi alongside other artists, will be presented at the Niavaran Cultural Center as part of the curatorial section of the 12th Iranian Ceramic Biennial.

Inspired by Virginia Woolf’s poem of the same name, the artists explore themes of growth, life, and the wave as a force propelling forward. The installation embodies the energy and momentum captured in Woolf’s words:

"So life fills my veins.
So life pours through my limbs.
So I am driven forward, till I could cry, as I move from dawn to dusk opening and shutting."

— Excerpt from The Waves by Virginia Woolf

The installation brings together the collaborative efforts of Afshin Sadipoor, Milad Moosavi, Nariman Farrokhi, Alishia Morassaei, Farbod Elkaei, and many others, who collectively contributed to the artwork.

It opens on December 30th, 2024, and will be on view until January 18th, 2025.
