The Middle East Institute (MEI) is the lead organizer of an exhibition of Iranian contemporary art curated by independent curator Donna Honarpisheh around the theme of “Maximal Miniatures” highlighting both classical and contemporary Iranian visual culture as intimately connected to text and writing, an aesthetic approach that sets it apart from the western tradition. The exhibition opens on January 22, 2025, and runs through May 23rd, 2025 at the MEI Art Gallery.
