"Emotions of the Sun" features 40 never-seen-before photographs from 8 internationally renowned artists, curated by Pauline Vermare. The exhibition showcases photographs in various formats and sizes, each reflecting the unique nature of the work. As the relationship between the artist and light (the sun) is considered fundamental to photography, the exhibition's theme evokes a range of emotions for the artists to capture. Hailing from 5 different continents, the artists employ diverse approaches to explore the central theme of the exhibition. Infusing her photographs with a hopeful tone, Newsha Tavakolian connects the sun to the concept of female empowerment.
