In a report published on Tatler Asia, Aaina Bhargava lists 9 Artworks from Art Basel Hong Kong 2024 that were rich in tactility and she was drawn to them because of their diverse medium.
She picks Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam’s “Untitled” from the “Sand Composition” series (2016) in the list. “At first glance, Mosen Vaziri-Moghaddam’s (b. 1924-2018) artworks seem like paintings, but upon closer inspection a granular quality becomes apparent, revealing that they are in fact made of sand.” She writes.
