Provenance

1964 A copy of this work was printed at the first page of Shapoor's book titled "Cari-kalamator".

?? - 2019 The work was in the personal collection of Mr. Homayoun Baniahmad untill January 2019. It is not known when it entered the collection.

Publications

"Cari-Kalamator" was first published by Ketab-e-Nemooneh publishing in Tehran, Iran in 1350 (1971). The book is consisted of a short autobiography and drawings of Parviz Shapour and a selection of essays on him by renowned writers and artists of the time, including Javad Mojabi, Manouchehr Neyestani, Omran Salahi, Ardeshir Mohassess and Bijan Asadipour.Ardeshir Mohassess' Portrait of Parviz Shapour is printed at the very first page of this book, facing the inside cover. As mentioned before, there is also a one-page writing of Ardeshir about Shapour's drawings on page 60. This article was originally published in Khoosheh (meaning cluster) Journal, in the nowrooz of 1347 (1968).
