Roksana Pirouzmand (b. 1990, Yazd, Iran) is a Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary artist working in sculpture, installation, ceramics, video, and performance. She earned a BFA from CalArts and an MFA from UCLA. Her practice centers on the body as vessel and activator, exploring texture, movement, and tension. Pirouzmand weaves personal, familial, and diasporic narratives into kinetic installations, such as sculptural fountains of cast body parts and motorized ceramics merging human and geological forms. Works like In Between Two Windows and The Past Seeps Through the Present investigate presence, absence, and intergenerational memory. Her art creates poetic spaces connecting body, history, and environment, reflecting care, memory, and displacement.
